Finding Multimedia Sources on the Internet
This presentation will provide participants with strategies, tips, and tricks on the best ways to use the Internet to find multimedia resources for use in the classroom. The participants will come away with an understanding of copyright use and how to easily locate materials and to use them to support teaching and learning.

How to Create Multimedia Presentations
This presentation will introduce the participants to some of the research dealing with visual and video literacy and how people learn best. It will provide, through demonstration and discussion, some practical tips and tricks to help both teachers and students develop presentations incorporating educational videos in a meaningful way.

Podder Up: Podcasting for the Classroom
Step up to the plate and engage students and enhance learning in your classroom with podcasting. Learn the basic steps of creating a podcast using open source software Audacity, and publish your podcast to free Web 2.0 podcasting sites. Workshop participants will learn how to create a podcast from start to finish. This workshop provides hands-on instruction on the software (Audacity), the publishing of the podcast, and the benefits for your students as you engage and motivate. So come and swing for the fence learning to use a 21st century tool and its application in the classroom.

Video in the Classroom
Digital Video is very important to today's learner and as a classroom tool for engaging and educating students. Learn how to construct videos and integrate digital video that provide real and significant learning experiences for students. Adobe Premiere Elements 4.0 is a powerful low cost program that provides all the tools in a user friendly interface to create videos that engage students, and create active learners. This workshop will provide hands-on instruction learning the Adobe Premiere Elements 4.0 interface, basic editing techniques, video capture, transitions and effects, title design, adding narration and background music, and exporting to DVD and for the web.

Protecting Students from Predators
The Internet is a wonderful place, but yet it is a dangerous place for our students when they are not educated to its dangers. This workshop prepares administrators, teachers, and parents to better educate students on how to protect themselves against online predators. This is a very necessary and informative workshop that you cannot do without. .
